The color is nice. No issue with the color. It’s true what you see. The weave has medium look and one can see the backing as well. For myself it’s not what I wanted. It’s not what my thoughts are for a shag. I can see my dogs nails getting caught in it. Yet it is pretty. Just not For me.

I needed a rug in the living room to replace a really small one. I was torn between a colorful rug with design and a shag rug. I realize the the navy shag was a good Choice. It was difficult to get it to lay flat on ends but it finally laid flat after vacuuming it and putting a heavy chest on it. I do like it and feels good on bare feet

It's a pretty low quality rug & I've had trouble getting it to straighten out. If you buy it, definitely get a pad with it. Color is nice though.
