I was a little hesitant reading some reviews of clearly used and dirty rugs arriving, but I needed a rug that was 6x6' (hard to find), washable AND 100% cotton and this was the only one out there! It is more plush than you would think and it is really soft. I clearly did get a new one (not a used/dirty one like some reviews said) and I am happy with it. I see what some reviews mean where they compare it to a blanket - it does have a softer, shag feel to it, but perhaps that can be fixed with a pad. At the moment I have furniture on it so it holds it in place nicely. Really cheap price for natural fibers and washable rug. Color was accurate to pictures.

Love this rug. It's thin and tufted and just what I needed.

Garbage

Save your money - not worth buying. Each time I vacuum, a lot of the cotton easily ends up in the vacuum itself (see photos). And just simply walking on it creates lots of dust and fuzz balls around the living room. The fact that it is advertised as "machine washable" and shows that it is good for the living room is super misleading and inaccurate due to the amount of shedding this rug does. I gave this rug a little over a month's chance and the problem has not gone away. After reaching out to Wayfair customer service they told me they could not refund because it is past the 30 day mark, and could not make any exceptions, which is a shame since it was falsely advertised. Only giving an extra star for the design and softness of the material, which comes apart anyways.

This rug arrived faster than expected however, it smelled so musty and not at all the color as it appears on the website. It was yellowish brown. It says it was washable on the description and I decided to wash it and the water was FILTHY! It took a very long time to dry but it looks a little better and definitely smells better. I am thinking about returning. It's not what I was expecting.
