It looks just like pictured although it is textured, and dirt and grime get in the textured surface which makes it difficult to clean and keep clean. It stuck to the hardwood floor well—maybe too well. I would not order anything like this again. I prefer a rug that I can throw in the washer.

QuestionsAnswers on this product says mat does not stain, but it definitely does. Dropped a piece of watermelon on it and cant seem to get the stain out. I have scrubbed it forever and still no luck (
