Soft, great quality, looks very nice. No factory smell after unrolling and leaving it outside for a few hours. The color difference outdoor vs indoor and low light vs bright light is noteworthy. I subtracted one star because the stripes run parallel to the length, not across the narrow width like I was expecting. Not a huge deal.
