Item is described online as being made of jute/sisal but the tag says it's 100% polyester and made in China. It also says the backing is canvas but its not. It's got a petroleum-based tacky non-slip backing. I was looking for a rug with natural fibers without a non-slip backing, so this won't do. I made an attempt to return it but Wayfair charges for returns, even if the item isn't as described. They offered a 20% refund on the item as an alternative to paying shipping to return it, which I accepted. I'll try selling it locally, I guess. It seems decently made and I do like the aesthetic, but I'm disappointed that it didn't arrive as advertised. I will add that it did arrive true to size and quickly. It was folded into a box instead of being rolled, so it has some pretty significant folds that seem like they'd be difficult to smooth out.

I love this rug! I thought it was 2 tone stripes and dark. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up and was this lovely cream color. It also has tassels. Wait, was I sent the wrong rug? ♀️ don’t know, but I love it!!!
