Terrible rug due to the finishing edges - a safety hazard!

I like the weave style of this rug. It is a very pretty soft brown color. Because it is handwoven the sides aren't exactly straight. The only thing that I don't like is that the ends are folded over to finish making them too thick and not proportioned to the rug.
