Peu satisfait- trop mince et texture décevante

I suspect this rug would have looked nice if I’d bought it before it was tightly rolled for shipping. When it arrived, it looked very dirty, which I figured out was due to the way it was rolled, so that the pile on part of it was smashed one way and then the other way on the other part of it. I vacuumed it, and no difference. I thought about how long it might take for the pile to “spring” back on its own, and I also thought about laying it out and washing the rug to give it a fresh start (yes, there was some chemical smell upon opening). I finally decided I didn’t like the rug enough to go through all that work. I think the pictures online are accurate, but a couple small areas of the rug are colored grey, as shown in the online pics — but in person, they just look dirty. I’ll keep looking.

Beautiful rug! I had many doubts before ordering this rug. As soon as it arrived, my mind was changed! The colors and texture goes well with my walnut coffee table and gold accents. It is a thin rug but I don’t mind it. Nothing a thicker rug pad can’t fix. I love it!
