great rug, just as expected

I was so excited for this rug, but when it arrived it didn't look anything like the photos. The "black" is more of a gray/brown color and the "white" is a natural beige kind of color. Overall, the rug had a brown hue that was different from what I was expecting, which was more of a black/white look. The rug also looked almost stained gray on some of the white patches. Overall, I'm fairly disappointed in this rug and will be returning it.

The wool is great quality with tight weave, no smell, seemed to have very little shedding. Because this is a fairly flat rug, I think it would work great under a table. The color came across like a dark steel gray to my eye, but the detail in the weave is very nice. In the end I was really hoping for stripes and not a checkerboard. Easy return with small shipping fee.
