Beautiful thick cushion-y rug…very soft. If you get a larger size rug( I purchased the 9x12) no need for rug pad. Nice finished backing on rug. Colors are muted to what is shown online- more of a soft red brick color with light blue/soft brown and soft gold accents. Lays flat right away- heavy weight-needed 2people to carry it into house. The only down side- vacuumed before placing furniture on it and fiber loss was CRAZY!! Had to empty my Shark vacuum 12 times…. Hoping that settles down after awhile.- besides that- a beautiful rug and worth the price.
