Soft rug. We have this in our bedroom and it looks and feels great.

This rug color looks exactly as it does in pictures. Very pleased. Very minimal shedding too. Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are that that rug had a wet dog like smell when it arrived. We aired it out for several days outside and used unscented free breeze and then left it open in the basement for several weeks before moving it into our master bedroom. This is a polyester rug and things can get stuck in the weave and hard to vacuum out. It is fine for our bedroom where it is a light like traffic area but I wouldn't want to use it in high traffic area (or if I had pets) as dirt and hair etc. stick to it easily. I could also see the white part of the rug getting dirty quickly in a high traffic area. For our master bedroom it is great and we've had it for 1.5 years and it has held up well.
