the rug looked pretty but it shed so much

Not same Colors

Such a beautiful rug! Rolled flat pretty much right after unpacking. I will agree to some of the reviews that the color doesn’t exactly match the listing. In our room with natural light, it’s more a gray ivory color. The reddishclay hues aren’t really obvious unless you look super close. Very soft rug overall, though some shedding but maybe because it’s new and may need to run a vacuum over it to get the excess material off. I did buy a rug pad with this purchase, though I feel like I could’ve gotten away without a pad since the rug itself if pretty heavy and thick enough. Overall very satisfied with this purchase! Update I’ve had this rug for about 3 months now and it is STILL shedding despite regular vacuuming. So unless you’re ok with a lot of wool or shedding rethink this purchase. Additionally, I have noticed that with increased foot traffic on this rug it sheds even more, so when we have people over you’ll definitely have to vacuum a lot of the shed Woolf.

This rug is gorgeous! It doesn’t have red undertones as I was expecting and I am so happy with it!
