YOU GUYS!! This rug is divine. It’s incredibly soft, thick and feels very luxurious. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it holds up well. I have spent a lot of time researching faux fur rugs so a few things to note: 1. Aside from the initial unwrapping, I haven’t experienced any other shedding which is great (and unexpected). 2. This rug does appear very thin upon delivery, I was nervous. However, once I had it down it does not feel or look thin. It does have a very pliable soft base, so if you’re looking for a thick & sturdy bottom you will probably need to increase your price point. 3. When it comes to vacuuming, we rely heavily on our robotic vacuum (roomba). The pile on this rug is too high for the roomba so it will need to be vacuumed manually. Highly recommend & I will update this review if anything changes with time.
