The rug is nice for the price. Its not very plush or soft but looks good. It works.

Rug Size:Rectangle 5' x 8'
In retrospect, I should have purchased the larger size, however, this is still a nice area rug with a traditional Danish feel to it.

After owning this for a few months, the edges are starting to pucker, like it's been stretched. This gets light use in an office counseling setting. Tripping hazard. Wouldn't buy again.

So I did a TON of rug shopping for our second bedroomgymoffice. A ton. I landed on a different rug from Wayfair but when it was back ordered for 12 weeks, I got impatient and went with my second pick. It shipped quickly and had little fabric ‘shower caps’ over the ends of the rug to protect them I noticed some reviews saying the ends were damaged so they definitely listened and added protection. When we first rolled it out, it definitely had some bubbles and the long ends were curled up. We put some free weights, books, and over heavy objects on the ends to calm them down and even just overnight the ends looked much more flat. It takes time though, so I suggest keeping heavy objects on the ends for as long as you can to really let it relax. This rug is fine without a rug pad, but the rug pad helps with the comfort level and it helped with the bubbles that hadn’t quite flattened out in the middle yet. I would say that I probably wouldn’t get it for a living room or an area you will spend a lot of time in because - well - you get what you pay for and it doesn’t scream “high end.” I’d say it screams “you have good taste but like on a bit of a budget but you don’t really care because there’s more to life than spending thousands on something you’ll walk on.” So I do think some of the reviews are from impatient people or people who got faulty rugs, but my experience is positive! Only taking a star away because it’s not like my favorite piece ever.
