not fully black coir. this is neutral/brown coir that is dyed so you can see the color difference at times. i returned before even unrolling (which is part of the reason i am returning - these coir mats should be shipped FLAT, and this is not)/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this doormat a lot. It replaced an aging one that I had for about 10 years. What I love about this doormat is that it is thick and sturdy. Does not move as you wipe your shoes on it. The color is nice neutral as you see in the picture. Looks great and modern without any old school black rubber design around it. Very contemporary. I prefer this simple and clean look as people enter my house. It functions really good as you expect it to for removing and hiding dirt. You can shake it out pretty easily. I'd recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mat is great! We put ours at the back door to catch all the dirt off of our shoes and our animals paws. It has significantly lessened the amount of debris we track in to our house! We will be getting another for the front door as well
