What the description does not mention is the lovely deep red and a country blue, (with a slight green tint), that accent the design. I put the runner in the entrance hall where the red highlights tie in with the reds in the library that is open to the hall. The pattern on the rug is graceful and lovely. The curves in the pattern match a curvy, distressed chest with filigree work on the drawers, which is also in the entrance way. The background tan is lighter than what it appears in the pictures. My best choice from Wayfair to date! Rugs are so, so hard to buy from pictures! But this one will keep me buying. (Kinda' like playing golf, you know?)
