Beautiful rug. Reasonably soft. It has a nice thickness, but it's not too thick. As I use it under my computer chair, yes there is such a thing as too soft. It's not identical to the product photos, but it is very similar. Probably, because I got one of the smaller rugs, it looks a little bit less detailed than the pictures. Weirdly, the pictures show a rectangular rug, but I ordered the round one... To be specific, in the product photos, the edge is sometimes cream, sometimes purple. On the rug I received, it is cream. It came in very wrinkled, but less than 24 hours later, it's already significantly less wrinkled. To be clear, I enjoy this rug and it looks good in my home office.
