Memory Foam. If it had been advertised as "memory foam" I would not have purchased it. More of a work-out mat than an anti-fatigue mat if you are barefoot or wear socks in the house, as you are required to work your way out of the footprint you just made in order to shift your weight or to move your foot an inch in order to reach anything and to force the mat to allow your to make a new footbed. Wearing shoes can't be easier.
