Crescent Rug: Modernist Hand Knotted Rug in Natural/Yellow

This rug isn't the texture I expected, but I have been very pleased with it regardless. It's a flatter, more flexible rug, on the softer side. I'm using it layered over another, more traditional piled wool rug, and it stays is place nicely. Any curling at the edges was gone in a few days, and it now lays completely flat. Colors are subtle in life. The yellow is a nice, natural mustard and the "white" is more of a cool eggshell cream color.

My sister just had to move for the second time in less than a year, and her new space definitely needed a revamp. I thought this rug looked perfect for the space, because she wanted to bring some warmer colors like gold into the greige room. The rug works really well! I think we’ll reorient it a bit but she wanted to let it flatten first. The color definitely looks more gold (in a good way) than I think the photos demonstrate.

It was shipped well and wasn’t damaged. There is only plastic around the outside so caution using a box cutter to open it - you may damage the rug. It looks like the picture although there is a pale greenmint accent through it that isn’t quite viable in the picture. I would rather not have that element. Overall it is nice and looks good in my office.
