I used this in front of my fire place. I love how the weave is hi and low. It’s a very tight weave. My dog actually loves to lie on it. As you know dogs like to scratch where they are going to lie ( his paws are as big as my hand). Not a single thread has pulled up on the rug. I highly recommend this rug. The color is so neutral it can go with most anything. If you have never owned a wool rug, they last forever and clean beautifully.

The area rug looks pretty but it looks more greenish and blue than gray
