The rug is beautiful and of very good quality. The pile is thick and coarse. I wear socks in the house so its not soft to the touch, but very sturdy. The pattern in the rug is elegant. It matches perfectly with my color theme. The blues are good weave of dark and light. The other two colors are cream and beige with a slight golden yellow hue. Perfect for me.
