I wasn’t happy with this rug. Based on the picture I thought the colors and pattern were very distinct as shown in the picture but it wasn’t. It has like a shimmer in the material. I wanted the pictured design as it goes with a few decorations in my home. The rug comes rolled up snug so you must unroll and then place books on the rug (the entire rug) to smooth everything out (no biggie just a very firm rug). If you are placing on a hardwood floor or tile VERY slippery (hence why I moved to my carpeted area).

This is a very nice rug, but it looks very different than the photo. The descriptjon says brown, but the actual color is more of a taupe. Its much lighter than anticipated. The stitching on one of the corners is not finished which is not a big deal, but just something to note. Otherwise its pretty plush and will work for what I need it for.
