Unfortunately this rug did not last too long, as the fibers matted and clumped quickly.

If we'd looked carefully at the picture, perhaps we'd have seen it. We thought we were buying a nice full soft shag. But what we got was a nice soft shag that has fibers that clump together. I've tried raking it, and it maybe helps a little, but the fibers actually feel a little sticky to the tough, and we're real unhappy with the clumped look. We have this rug in our living room and were happy to pay a little more for it than the Safavieh shag we have in our bedroom. But for less money, the bedroom shag has remained soft, full and lovely. I'd buy that rather than this one if I had to do it over again-save your $ and buy something nicer.
