I love this rug. I usually buy wool because of the the sustainability and they are healthier to breathe. Some review say this is a taupe but it is cool brown with cream mixed which makes it look that way. This is not a warm brown with yellow tint. I love the way the pattern is made from two kinds of pile making it subtle which is what I wanted. It's made well and fairly thick. I don't see any shedding as others have said but wool can do that sometimes. Im happy, it has made my place feel warmer and goes with my antique and modern furniture. Hope that helps

Just put the rug down and I'm very pleased with the color and pattern. The on-line picture was very accurate. So far it has also received a canine vote of approval. I'm hoping it will last for years.
