We used this on our front porch which gets very slippery in the winter. It is durable and helps provide good traction in snow and icy conditions. The holes are a little bit big for real comfort for long term standing.

This is used at my front door to keep dirt and mostly dust out. I live in Arizona and it is dusty! A fabric mat of any kind over time just fills with dust and dirt. This mat lets the dirt and dust fall through while providing enough surface to clean off shoes. Hosing off or cleaning is great. It's designed for wet environments so the water flows through it and channels out perfectly.

Very functional, heavy duty to be used outside the entry door.
