Hmph. In less than a month, and with no trauma that we're aware of (used in bedroom), this rug is coming apart at the edge. It's the blanket-stitched trim edge and it's coming apart in least 6 distinct places! Argh. Original review: chiming in that THIS IS NOT BLACK! Photos are accurate - it's a lovely desaturated navy which is exactly what we wanted!

Nice rug, took off a star because it shouldn’t be described as black. It is blue..with accents in other shades of blue as well as some creamgrey and tan. Works for me as other reviewers warned about it
