Tapis à poils longs Wigley Sgd-Dallas

The 6' round rug was nice but not what I expected. The pattern was much larger than pictured on the runner.

The rug's colors are a little darker than the provided picture, and does require backing/grippers as slips easily on hardwood floors.

This rug STINKS, literally. Smells strongly like chemicals. It's nice looking, feels fine (not particularly soft but I don't mind) but man does it smell. I've washed it a few times with soap hoping that might fix something, the rug is hanging outside in the sun because when its inside the entire floor smells strongly of chemical. In contrast a different rug I ordered that was the same materials doesn't smell even slightly. Makes me wonder if this is actually made of what it says and if it's actually Oeko-tex certified. I'm hoping enough time in the sun and wind will help it offgas quicker and make it tolerable to have inside.
