Tapis beige en laine fabriqué à la main à motif géométrique Mott Street

This is a nice rug, simply put. It’s true to size, nice and thick. Not super soft, as it’s wool, but it’s surely not abrasive. When I first unrolled the rug, my first impression was that the color is lighter than pictured. It’s fine, though. I actually like it better! I got a second lighter rug which I was gonna put in this spot, but I ended up liking how this one fit in, so it got the spot! ) ***UPDATE After a few months of use, I felt the need to come update this review and drop the rating due to the carpet “shedding”, as I call it. There is excessive loose hair-like material floating around my hardwood floors that it almost seems as if I have a large dog that sheds, but I don’t. It is 100 from the carpet. While I like the carpet otherwise, the “shedding” is very annoying.***

This is a soft, thick rug. It seems to be well made, and did not have a strong smell when unwrapped. So far it isn’t pilling or shedding. It is great for lying on to stretch. Each stripe is woven in a different way, resulting in an uneven thickness, which might make it inappropriate for high traffic areas, or under a dining room table.

Wow, This is a really excellent rug, especially for this price. It has different textures and patterns that work really well together. My wife is also pleased that it is wool because it’s in our son’s playroom and wool does not give off VOCs. It’s pretty soft and thick (and heavy!), but I’m still going to put a pad under it for some extra cushion. I have not noticed any shedding so far. I also just want to clarify that this rug is gray (or more accurately, black and white), not beige as described.

This rug is very nice! It is thicker than I thought it would be, and it has a wool smell. The quality seems excellent. I like the patterns and different sections. It reminds me of a thick sweater. Im not sure how itll wear long term, but it is very nice!

The Mott Street Hand Woven Wool Carpet is rugged and constructed of extremely high quality wool. It provides a very warm environment and highlights the other furniture very well. The large tight knots are very strong and yet soft and comfortable.
