Tapis ébène

I originally bought this rug for a different space in our home, but ended up using it upstairs in our rec room area. Neutral color with lines of dark gray, light gray, and white running through it. I was thinking it was much more of a solid lighter color with the pictures online. Depending on your lighting, it might lean a little bit to the ivory side, not “yellowy”, though (that’s one of the toughest things about ordering things like rugs online, and not being able to really see the color in person). For reference, our vinyl plank flooring does have gray undertones. The LED lights in our upstairs are very “cool“. I would think in a warmer light, the rug might be a little more neutral looking. It is a nice, well-made rug. That has been my experience with all of the Safavieh rugs I’ve purchased over the years. They have a nice backing and are high-quality!
