Its beautiful to look at ONLINE, but terrible in person. Its like a piece of art that's is beautiful to look at from far away, and when you get close, you realize how ugly it is. First of all, this rug is made out of polyester. The gold fabric as glued on in rows! The instructions, say to vacuum it to pick up some of the lint it sheds. Well, the first time I vacuumed the rug, some of the glued on rows started to lift and peel back! Not to mention that some rows were already missing. I purchased this to put in my new home and living room. Also, the glued on rows also shine, making the rug look cheap. I called Wayfair customer service, and they did confirm that the rugs fibers are glued on. They were nice enough to give me a full refund and not have the hassle of returning the rug. I did not throw away the rug immediately and put in my bedroom. Well, the rug is worse and now has bald patches. The fibers continue to shed like crazy all over my new laminate floors, furniture and I think I even feel them in my throat! My husband will be tossing out this horrible rug this weekend! Do not buy this rug!

It came defective. The rug looked beautiful but I was able to see the blue marker around the design. The beige tone is much lighter than what it looks in the picture. Customer service was great though. They did not want the rug back because they did not want to give it to someone else.
