Tapis oriental en laine Traditions

I purchased 12 x 9 rug, but they sent 11x 8 one which is not a size option. It is a heavy to return it. Also rug has too much dust. I vacuumed it but still much dust coming out.

They rug is very attractive and soft and for that I give it five stars. But, after having this rug for a few months I can say I had no idea how much this thing sheds. I have this in a professional media studio with lots of foot traffic and I have to dust the room to remove the rug fibers and protect my equipment. Running the vacuum over the 9' by 12' rug just once will fill up the vacuum drum three times. I have already vacuumed this thing completely at least twenty times and still an endless supply of tiny fibers fill up my vacuum in seconds. I plan on moving this rug to another room that does not get so much traffic. A cat would easily rip up a mountain of fibers in short order and enjoy it a great deal.

It's a fine area rug, but the colors are bolder than I expected from the website images. The green and red are strong and the details are not subtle. I hadn't paid attention to how thick the rug was before I purchased either. It's very thick, and even thicker if you add a no-slide pad underneath. This make the rug even less subtle. Also, if you have cats, they will tear this rug apart with ease.
