Tapis Lauri Southwestern

Nice looking woven rug with colored yarn (not printed). It has taken a while to flatten out and the fringed ends are still sticking up. We have tried putting it upside down, and rolling the ends backward, and placing weights on the fringed ends, but they still stick up and are a trip hazard.

Perfect colors. Love this rug

This is worth 1 star only for size and actual fabric quality. The rug is very soft and the colors are as expected, as is size. The issue is that even after putting a bunch of leftover furniture on top of various areas of the rug for a few hours, along with the rest of the living room furniture, it becomes obvious that the manufacturing was way off. The lengthwise ends are very wavy due to “bubbles” that are impossible to get out. I have tried smoothing them out by running wood across the area to the edges like one would a rolling pin and dough, then letting things sit atop it, to no avail. The bubbles return and the rug refuses to lie flat at any point. Photos clearly show uneven surface and wavy edges even in low light.

This rug is lovely - super soft and perfect for our livingroom!
