It works very well as a gripper, but I was hoping it wasn't as stiff and almost scratchy-like. So far, I don't see any damage to my hardwood floors, but I was hoping it would be more felt and less plastic.

Great rug pad. It was easy to roll out and position, and it keeps my area rug firmly in place without slipping. Makes the rug feel even more comfortable underfoot too.

Bought this pad for 4 rugs. They take a cheap thin rug and makes it luxurious and padded filling. The rug pad costs more than the rugs I bought. But they took 150 rugs and made them feel like 1000 rugs.
