Tapis Howden

This rug is okay. Three stars because the color is way off from how it looked to me online. I received the rug today and laid it out. The edges are still curled up some, but I expect it to lay flat soon. It’s pretty and the quality seems decent for the price. The rug is much lighter in color than I expected. I thought it was more brown/beige with some grey throughout. It’s actually very light beige, near off-white, and more silver than grey. Essentially, it has cooler tones, whereas I need warmer tones. Also, I have three kids and two dogs — the lighter colors won’t wear as well for us. It’s not worth the hassle of returning, so I’ll try it for a bit, then move it to a different space if I can’t make it work where I planned. It is a pretty rug and it’s neutral, just keep in mind that it’s lighter and cooler than it may appear on your computer screen.

The color is off! It’s more of a grayish, light blue and black vibe. I was vey surprised. Not sure I’m keeping it. Just a hassle to return.
