Gorgeous rug! It’s very well-made. I don’t know what the name is for the backing, but it is a high-quality rug overall. If you purchase this, you won’t be disappointed. I show a close-up photo next to a candle that I have which is like a plum color. The red is not as red as it shows in the photos. It’s closer to the dark plum color. It goes perfectly with my decor. Now that I see it up close, I’m just trying to figure out if I want to put it under my dining room table, which I think it would look beautiful or if I should use it and replace the rug I have in the living room. I can’t move the heavy furniture because of my back so I’m waiting for my husband to do that. I’ll post another picture once I determine where it lands. It’s gorgeous!

Love the colors in this rug. Perfect blend of neutrals, plus a pop of deep red. Plus it's soft and I haven't noticed any shedding yet (wool rug). I ordered 2 - one for our bathroom and one for our bedroom.
