Update : After 9 months of cleaning this rug per instructions, I am SICK of the constant shedding. A sheepdog wouldn’t shed like this rug. I was tired of the fiber everywhere in my house. I threw it in the trash. Wasted $380.00. Even though I love the colors and design, l do have some complaints. The braids are not black and white as pictured. They are solid cream. I read other reviews about the rug shedding which it does a lot! There is a label on the carpet that states this but l think it should be included in the description. It also says shedding will diminish with time.How long? So if you have respiratory issues I would not say that you should not buy this rug. This is an update: if you read further, it does say it sheds and vacuum 2xweekly. I didn’t read that before purchase. So, after vacuuming it several times maybe 5 times this is how much I got after a 6th vacuuming. I was very surprised. I now wonder how long it will take before the rug disappears. I do have a good pad under it.

The rug looks great...but be prepared for a lot of shedding.
