Tapis crème / noir Amir Moroccan Beni Souk

I really love this rug. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a little thinner than I expected, it had a couple of snags in the pile, and the folds (it was folded instead of rolled) have been difficult to get out.

We ordered the 9x12 for our bedroom. I have no issue with the quality or look of the rug. But it's been almost two weeks and the fumes are still a very strong, it literally smells toxic. To be fair, it's the middle of winter so I can't open the windows to air it out.

I absolutely love this rug! I was looking for something that would tie my living room together while complementing my Afro-Boho style, and this rug exceeded my expectations. The cream and black pattern is striking without being too busy, and it adds just the right amount of texture and visual interest to the room. I will be adding warm wood tones, black accents, plants, and African-inspired décor, and this rug is the perfect foundation to bring everything together beautifully. It already makes the room feel cozy, inviting, and much more polished. The neutral colors are versatile and work well with a variety of furniture and décor styles. The quality is excellent for the price. It feels soft underfoot, was easy to unroll, and flattened out quickly. I also appreciate that the pattern helps disguise everyday dirt and footprints, which is a bonus in a busy home. The rug looks even better in person than it does online, and I am very happy with my purchase. If you're considering this rug, I would definitely recommend it.
