Great rug! Very very soft, plush and feels so nice on my feet. Perfect for our nursery. Came wrapped very securely. It flattened quickly - within a day. I didn’t notice much of a new carpet smell and I have a good nose. The pattern definitely disappears in all the fluffy shag but it doesn’t bother me at all. This was on my pricier side for rugs but the quality I think is worth the investment.

Love the way the rug looks and feels. The backing of the rug is a little lower in quality than I was expecting. I’ll need to buy something to go underneath for padding.

Mine had no tassels, it’s fine but odd. I agree with other reviewers that the pattern is hard to see because of the shag. It definitely needs something to stop it from sliding. It took a day or two to flatten. Overall I’m happy with it.
