This rug wasn't what I was expecting and honestly that turned out to be an excellent thing! I expected the rugs rectangle streaks of color to be like the threading/piling of the rug and that the threads made up the squares/color change. Instead it's a nice printing onto the rug. The rug itself is soooo soft and almost feels velveteen. We bought it to go under a new table so it works really well and I don't have to worry about picks or nicks in the rug due to the new bench we got that will go on top of it.

This rug is quite possibly the best home decor purchase I’ve ever made in my entire life. For the last 3 years, I’ve been eyeing the expensive cowhide version of this rug in hopes of one day finding it on sale. Instead I was lucky enough to discover this infinitely superior alternative. Not only was it a fraction of the cost, it is stunning in its appearance. The print is vibrant, crystal clear, and looks identical to a true cowhide rug but without any fur shedding! It’s velvety soft and feels amazing under my feet. It’s thickness is comparable to a flat weave rug so it sits nice and low, adding to its sleek and clean appearance. Unexpected bonus is the rubberized bottom so I don’t even need a separate rug pad! As you can see, I am absolutely in love with my purchase....I am tempted to buy a few more just to store away for my future home. But for now, I’m so pleased to have stumbled across this rug, period. It’s a 10/10 purchase that you will be so happy to have made! Don’t hesitate!

Quality is great, soft texture. Not my favorite design because it does kind of hold dirt. So it would be better for a room that doesn’t have as much traffics as the living room.

Very flat and smoothvelvety. I was trying to get an area rug with a bit more texture for my dog (so she has some traction). While this rug doesn’t have any height, it has held up extremely well to our rough and tumble and countless vacuuming.

This rug is amazing and bigger than anticipated (which is good) looks amazing in my living room
