Tapis bleu marine en laine / viscose touffeté à la main Philo

I was I was attracted to this rug because of the design and the black-and-white pattern. It is a flat weave so if you have a cat I would pass. It’s just to tempting for them. Also the carpet is hard to keep lint free. I vacuum the rug twice a day and I still have lint mixed in from the white wool into the black parts of the rug. I would also recommend a mat for cushion underneath. 

Love, love, love this rug! Colors are exactly as pictured and the white is truly white, not cream. Very soft to walk and sit on, fairly high pile, and very little shedding. Perfect addtion to our grandkids' beach house bedroom!

Love the pattern and it is nice and soft. The color is less teal than it looks - more of a muted navy. That worked for me, but be aware if you actually want something teal. Only complaint is that the cream threads are pulling out more than I would expect. No damage to the rug, just takes more vacuuming than I expected.
