The rug sheds like a German Shepherd. I’ve tried vacuuming over and over again and it continues to just fill up the vacuum and stick to my socks and other clothes making a mess around the apartment. I liked the look of the rug so much that I even tried a carpet scraper for pet hair in certain sections to see if that would help - it didn’t. I’m convinced the rug will continue to shed until there is no more rug left. So unfortunately after owning the rug for a little over a month I’m ready to call quits and buy another. Perhaps mine was just defective or maybe this is to be expected with cheaper rugs.

I like the rug and will probably keep it but it’s not 8’ x 10’. Maybe more like 7’8” or so x 10’. Not a huge deal but frustrating since I ordered a custom rug mat. It’d help if this was as advertised.

Great rug and so cozy and comfortable. It does initially shed a lot so keep the vacuum close by.
