I love the look of this rug but it really stunk for a good month...even outside. It smelled very skunky to me. There was also a long mark down the entire length that looked like a pull. We were sent a replacement, which was in great condition but also stunk. Now, after an entire winter outside, the rug no longer stinks and looks good!
