Aven Non-Slip Stair Tread (Set of 8)

They move around a little!

I was hopeful when I got these stair treads that I could use them at my apartment to cut down on the stair noise. They truly aren’t no slip. They started curling up at the edges after less than a week. I took them down right away because I was worried someone would fall. Would return these and would not buy again.

Unfortunately, the non slip stair treads do not stay in place. They are also thin. The quality is not what I had expected. I would not recommend this product as I feel they are not stable which may cause someone to slip and fall.

Just what I was looking for! Very good quality but take note that by design, these are THIN! (see photos) They work perfectly as stair runners and are an EXCELLENT solution to keep from slipping on slick wood stairs but they're not designed for adding plush padding underneath. You can install these exactly as they arrive, no need for additional materials, just put them directly on a CLEAN smooth surface. They arrived folded in half (see photos) so I had to bend them back the other way & then put weights on them for a week to get them to lay flat. No glues or tape needed, the backers pretty much secure themselves & make it VERY easy to pick up & clean!

Great color and size. These do stay in place. Perfect size. These really do add a touch to the decor and colors of my house. I am very happy with my selection. I don’t have to worry about slipping or falling down the stairs again. This is a definite asset to my home. On another note……these were folded in half for shipping purposes. Could not use them right away because of the fold. I had to put something heavy on top for a few days, and warm iron them with a damp cloth to get the folded area out. With that slight curve (fold) in the center, this could have been a trip hazard. My suggestion is to have them shipped flat.
