Hayashi Hand Tufted Wool Geometric Indoor Rug

This rug exceeded my expectations! The colors are warmer than what is shown on the Wayfair picture - which is perfect for what I was going for. The rug is well crafted, sturdy, and very comfortable to walk and sit on! I absolutely love this rug. The quality for the price is excellent. Highly recommend!

At first I ordered two 5x7's - one for living and one for dining. Within an hour, I changed my mind. The size is too small for my dining set, so I cancelled it and instead, ordered one 7.6x9.6. Saturday 5-9-26 Fed Ex arrived with the two smaller rugs!! Huh? I refused and signed the drivers hand held gizmo to send them back. When I first placed that order, the site said the smaller rugs were on backorder until mid-July, so Wayfair needs to up their system to be correct. The larger rug arrived today.(5-11-26) I have been looking for this rug for months. I used google lense and ALL the other sites said things like "No longer in stock" or "Sold out". I was having a big sad. Then I saw the rug listed at Wayfair. My prayers were heard! LOL. I know it is wool and I know it will shed. Don't care. It's a modern take on MCM (Mid-Century Modern) design and the color blends with my sectional. Very pleased.

This wool rug is a stunner! It was shipped with 3 layers of plastic, which was a lot to remove, but worth it for the protection. It unrolled surprisingly well, with only a very small amount of curl remaining at the ends, which should settle quickly. The rug is very thick at about 3/4". Make sure you take that into account if it's going near any doors. I didn't, and now I have to shorten a door, but it will be worth it! I put a 1/4" pad under the rug. It's quite cushy. The colors are beautiful, the pattern is beautiful, and the rug seems beautifully made. Very happy!

I wanted to order this rug for my living room, but it was out of stock for six months, so I ended up ordering a different rug. I was also looking for a rug for my entryway and I kept coming back to this one. The rugs are finally in stock again so I ordered it. All of the reviews are accurate as the colors are so vibrant and it is so cushy, especially compared to my other area rug. Plus the quality is so much better than my Safavieh rug as that one has loose threads all over (. I love this rug so much and it makes me happy every time I go into my entryway.

Lovely and retro. Bought 2 5x7's and one 4x6. Love them. Updated 5-11-26 --Since then, the floors were redone and I bought a larger sectional and the aqua 7.6x9.6. I gave these to my daughter. The shedding continues, but that's better than a thin, wrinkly rug.
