Well Woven Apollo Unraveling Stories by Giorgia Lupi Contemporary Purple Flat-Weave Area Rug

Data humanist Giorgia Lupi and Well Woven celebrate the art of creative storytelling with the unraveling storeys rug collection. Drawing on data from UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Lupi’s designs feature a striking visual composition that tells the storey of 59 lost and endangered textile-making techniques through a powerfully colourful, contemporary pattern. Decor lovers and data enthusiasts alike can now immerse themselves in the captivating narrative of textile history woven delicately through each area rug. While they honour lost and endangered textile techniques of the past, the unraveling storeys area rugs are made for modern living today. Each area rug is easy to clean, stain-resistant, and machine washable for effortless cleaning. The flat, woven surface is soft to the touch and low to the ground for convenient placement under furniture and in doorways. Recycled textile backing is gentle on all types of flooring, including wood floors. The addition of a rug pad (sold separately) underneath enhances comfort and helps secure the indoor area rug in place.
