They don’t slide at all! Stays firmly in place, we love them, and my old dog is now so confident going down the stairs, it’s taken years off of him!

These are fabulous! The stick very well to the stairs without any damaging adhesive and are extremely soft under our feet. I had bought another set from a different company that do not feel nearly as secure. I'll be ordering more from this company. I have not washed them yet, so am unsure how the grip will hold up after that, but so far, am very happy with the look and feel of these.

They look great and no glue is needed with the rubber backing. I recommend this product
