I'm an interior designer and have seen cheap versions of stitched cowhide rugs for a long time. I got a small rug as a sample to view and was incredibly impressed with not only the precision of the stitching and quality of the hides but also with the very nice felt backing that it has. This manufacturer has been a favorite manufacturer of mine for a long time and this product shows why.....buy it!
