I hadn't been able to find a rug flat enough that it didn't get bunched up when my door opened or closed over it. I'm glad I found this one. It works perfectly.

Description is misleading. Yes the background colour is black but the swirls of white are very prominent and it is speckled red (my husband said it looks like from a bowling alley). It works for what we needed it for (flat, low pile, gripped back)- my sons play mini sticks on it. But it isn't very attractive!
