Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rug! It is beautiful! Lays out flat. Does not need a pad. It did have a musty smell (which my son loved LOL).

The rug sheds terribly. Constantly have to vacuum the surrounding area. The color and thickness deserve a 5 star rating, but the residue is a bit much.

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a casual wool rug with blues and creamy white that could stand up to family room traffic. The online photos are just what this rug looks like. There are slight variations in blues giving the lines a bit of a watercolor effect up close. The design really becomes a neutral backdrop to blend into the room but has just enough interest to give it some character.

Beautiful, good quality wool rug. It does shed like any wool rug. The blue grid is somewhat variegated in color but is mostly a dark navy or indigo. The background is off white or ivory--not yellow or gray or bright white.
