This was not at all what I expected. It is advertised as wool. If you read the details like 20 lines down it says wool polyester. The pattern in printed on top of a soft fuzzy polyester material and has a purplish/blue appearance as opposed to gray. I would never buy this on purpose. Maybe I should have read more closely, but from the description, my expectations were not met.

Exceptionally soft. Looks nice in my little reading nook. Would not have in a more open area. Pattern and pile are quite flat.
