This rug was nice, but I was not prepared for the amount of distressing in the pattern and the charcoal-colour of the rug skewed more grey-purple, than blackish-grey (what I define as a true charcoal tone). The rug is quite thin, which is what I was after, but for those who want a more luxurious feel will require a rug pad.
